Senate vote public lands sale

This mess has been a rollercoaster. We’re screwed….we’re good….never mind we’re screwed….we might be ok here….now we’re back to maybe we are screwed.

How often do you all actually get an answer on the other end of the line? I've left probably 10 voicemails now and only once did a staffer answer.
Only voicemails for me as well. No call backs either even though I requested them. I have at least had responses to most of my emails. Mike Lee was the only email that I never got a response from.

On Wednesday this week I got a person on the other end of the line for Ricketts office. She gave me a quick "I'll pass on your concerns" and was ready to be off the phone. I felt like I got to express more when leaving a voicemail! I did ask for a call back in several of the voicemails to each Senator, nothing so far.

When the Great American Outdoors Act was being worked on I had talked to a staffer and asked how our representative was leaning, he said he wasn't sure and would get back to me. He did call me back, a week after the vote! When he told me how the congressman was leaning I was like "yeah, I know how he feels, he voted against it last week!".

If the issue was really about housing for AMERICANS, then mass deportation of around 100 million illegal aliens will fix this immediately.

As Lee wrote... "protect our farmers" means Big Ag needs housing for millions of illegal aliens in order to keep them here illegally & pay them slave wages.
The total US population is less than 350 million. I don’t think one in three of us is an illegal alien lol.

It’s over. As I predicted many pages ago this would have been political suicide for anyone who voted yes on this particular verbiage. It won’t have enough momentum to ever be passed if it’s outside of a big bill where no one knows it’s there. For the time being I’d consider this over with.

Furthermore I don’t buy that he was doing this “for President Trump”. He was doing this for his own good as such even though I am a life long republican I would suggest to all of you to get him out of there and elect someone else. This way I don’t have to spend my hour lunch for three weeks straight calling and emailing politicians.

It’s nice to finally see our voice be heard and make an impact. Numbers matter and when we band together as one community, we can make a wave. Great work to all but now its up to the people of Utah to make sure Senator Lee doesn’t have another opportunity.

This is outstanding, good work everyone that took action! Really need to keep an eye on this guy and this topic. Also important to remember who supported this, who didn’t and also the people/organizations that STAYED QUIET.
