Schnee’s Mountain Boot vs Hoffman Explorer flex rating

I’m pretty familiar with the flexibility of Schnee’s Beartooth and Timberline boots.

I’m a high end boot ho and I’m starting to think there’s something to the one-piece vamp design on the Hoffman Explorer. Can anyone speak to the flexibility and perhaps even fit of the boots as a comparison?

I've worn the explorer for a season in the mountains and really like them, especially the one piece vamp and overall layup. In my experience fewer seams equals drier feet. They are not the stiffest boot but can handle any terrain your body is capable of. I cannot compare to Schnee's but would say they are slightly less stiff or similar to the Lowa Tibet. I usually wear 9.5 or 10 shoes and have a wide forefoot but low volume foot and the 10 wide fit me well.

I think he does a stiffness comparison in the video in this thread
