Rokslide treehouse,
I’m searching diligently for new mountain boots. I’ve had a dreadful experience with Zamberlan 1030 Sella’s on my last hunt and I’m done. I’m looking at purpose built hunting brands/models now. I’ve noticed that Kenetrek and Hoffman use a one piece vamp style upper on their boots whereas other brands like Schnee’s use a stitched tongue area.
In general terms, has anyone noticed a difference in durability, waterproofing, and/or comfort from the one piece vamp boots vs boots that have a stitched tongue area?
