I think I’m going to bite the bullet and order the mdt hunt 26 with folding butt stock. It’s spendy but would make it the whole package.Just ordered a Stocky's carbon fiber stock for my Savage. Pricey, but it's my Christmas gift to me. Will let y'all know how it fits and works (and weighs). Should get my rig down to 6 lbs. 6 oz. scoped
27 ozDo you know what the original stock weighs?

If you’re willing to spend $100/ounce, you can make your ultralight ultralighter.
Stockys carbon fiber stock = 21 oz.
Yes it is. I have another load at 58.8 grains of H4831 that’s a .410 moa, 2942 fps.View attachment 486270
I haven’t really tried. All my rifles that I hand load for are hunting rifles, and if I get loads with bullets I want for terminal performance, that are below .500 moa, I’m usually good. If I was chasing thousands of inches, I’d mess with seating depth. Most of my hunting loads I can usually get into the .300-.500 moa range while seating .030” off the lands. We’re you able to seat the bullet further out then Sammi specs? Hoping to run 175s

With a leupold vx5 hd 3x15 the rifle is 7.7 lbs. No ammo in the mag. That would be appreciated if you could

Is that 7 pounds 7oz or 7.7lbs (7lbs 11oz). From my quick calculations of the the vx5 listed weight and the ultralite's listed weight, it should come in a 7lb and 7oz although that's not factoring in rings which could be 3-4 ozWith a leupold vx5 hd 3x15 the rifle is 7.7 lbs. No ammo in the mag.
