Safe easy button chambering for Tikka vs iffy?

After perusing this forum for a while I’m feeling the itch for a Tikka T3X. from what I recall after reading quite a few posts, the safe chambering ie. little to no accuracy issues are the standard .223, 6.5C, .308, .30-06, and the like. Issues were had with 22-250 and 7mm-08. Can anyone validate this?

Not really. The 223, 6.5C, 308, 30/06 all have match factory ammo, or ammo for them tends to be more accurate in large numbers. The 22-250, 7mm-08, 7mm RM, etc do not and can tend to be more picky with any rifle.
I’ve seen multiple 22-250, 7mm-08’s, and 7mm RM Tikkas that were as good as any. Having said that, the only real issues I’ve seen with Tikkas from memory has been with 7mm RM. but if I wanted one, that would phase me.

A smart approach is a 223 with 1-8” twist and a 6.5 Creedmoor, both with good mounts and scopes….

I wouldn’t let a particular cartridge scare you away. I’ve had experience with almost of those listed and all have been accurate.

Between 2 .223's, 5 .308's, 1 30-06, and 3 6.5's I know you'll be happy with one of those. All are/were great.

Excessive headspace issues IIRC. Berretta took care of them.

I have owned 2 Tikka .260 CTR's. I hand loaded for both with Lapua brass, H4350, and Berger 130 AR Hybrids. They were both legit 3/4 moa guns.

I have 8 twist Tikkas in 223 and 22-250 and no accuracy issues.

I have a t3x in 7mm and my only fault with the gun was that it kicked like a mule. Added a limbsaver and a muzzle brake. Now I can shoot it with ease. Even my 175 core lokts grouped well.

That I remember one would have been in ‘10’ish, one between ‘12-14.
