Ryan Avery vs James Petker...the fat kid weight loss competition!

So here's the deal everyone....

Ryan and James have gained a bit of weight and need some motivation, so they've started a weight loss competition between them.

They will be posting their current weight on this thread from when the competition started (12-2-13).

The final "weigh off" will be at the SHOT show on January 15th.

I'm not sure what the wager is, but I'm suggesting $500....that way they have something worthwhile to work towards.

So take your bets everyone! Who's going to be the fittest of the fattest?

Any side bets between Rokslide members are encourages

Dam Ryan I am glad you accepted the Challenge simply for your health alone after seeing the above picture! On a serious note, we are both committed to shedding some weight and shedding it fast.

MY STORY........
January of 2012 I committed myself to losing weight and living a healthier lifestyle which lasted for about 1 year. I Started at 210 and got down to 171lbs at one point. During the hunting season of 2012 I was in the mid 170's and had never felt better or navigated the mountains with so much ease. After a struggle threw the winter with a divorce and depression benge eating, I slowly started to but the weight back on. Then come April 1st I took a temporary job assignment in the Windy city (Chicago) were I have been stuffed in a office for the last 8 months sitting on my ass, not exercising and eating out every night. I will let you know thou that Chicago is a great place for some incredible food as well as drinking and picking up Chicks LOL.

Last week the day before Thanksgiving I woke up and got ready for a short vacation to Louisiana with my girlfriend to visit her family. I hit a wall that morning at 3am as I could barely fit into my largest pair of skinny kid jeans. I no longer have anymore of my fat kid clothes and I sure as hell am not going to go out and buy new larger clothes. So I proceeded threw the holiday to eat like a pig and enjoy all the Cajun food I could indulge in, then flew back Sunday and made a the commitment to myself to eat and get healthy again. With planning starting for next season already happening, some big backcountry hunts are going to take place and I need to be in the best shape of my life to be successful and enjoy the season!

So in short that is my story and were my drive is coming from. My good friend Ryan was the perfect target to prey upon and challenge as we both can give and take a good friendly verbal razing and bashing, and once focused are pretty much unstoppable. So Ryan you better be on your A+++++ game because Im a man after your over Roundness!

The wager is as Such. Whoever has lost the most weight by the start of the Las Vegas Shot Show say January 15th, will win a all paid dinner and drinks for two at there chosen restaurant and indulge in some major earned Chow! To make this even more interesting there is a added wager of a $500 cash bet pending Ryans exceptance!

Here is a snapshot of my official weigh video from yesterday evening pre workout with socks, shorts, tee shirt and phone in hand. 204.5 is my official starting weight.... Yesterday at 9pm I did 50min on the Stair Master and sat in the Sauna after that for 5min! I'm in it to win it.....
