Sounds like a great idea Aron, the forum is growing big enough I think to allow a few geographic chapter areas!

Buff,
Was up in the ALW last June and was on 5+ feet of snow before hitting 5500'. We're still getting some snow up high but its melting faster than last year! I think July should have a lot of areas open this year...

It sounds like there is some intrest, I am in for an overnight camp/fishing trip. I was thinking in late May or June sometime when most of the snow is gone, that way I can try out some new gear I have. I have no problem traveling, I was thinking somewhere within a 100 miles of spokane and could do a trip to Wenatchee, Naches, Seattle, Longview. I just want to see some other country. I too have the bikini frame coming, it should be here in a week or so.

Randy, I will be back in Pullman this week I will comeback in the service department and say hi.

Surprised Longview made your list! Lol that's where I grew up.

I fly up to Spokane quite a bit so I might be up for it if it all lines up.

Lets keep this gowing and get some places that people would like to go and the best time of year, There are Rokslide menebers all over Washington and Northern Idaho we could get multiple trips gowing.

Aron I think that would be a good idea, one place to go for different hiking, camping and fishing trips.

count me in schedule depending, early is better as july on gets cramped up with trips already ;)

i think the new section is a great idea, i also spend alot of time out hiking by myself and wouldnt mind some company now and then

Nope
Jerry see what you started:cool: This is really taking of for the Northern Roksliders, What do you think maybe 2 trips, 1 on the dry side , 1 towards the wetside, I am not trying to seperate this just throwing this out seems like alot drive time for some from Montana or the coast.

Any thoughts,
Randy

That makes sense to me. It would also make it possible for some who couldn't make one trip, could maybe make the other.

I think I can make that work. I can't do later though because our espresso stand is doing coffee at the Enumclaw street fair the last weekend of July and I will be really busy the weekend before.

Nothing planned yet. If anybody wants to carry my spotter I'll pack one of my rifles and some ammo if the location is conducive to shooting rocks at distance! Probably up my pack weight by 20 lbs though (ammo isn't light!) ;)
