Welcome bud! Should definitely be a good time I'll be bringing some Pendleton as well, in a gatorade bottle of course... Since we'll likely be hiking in together you want to save some weight and only pack one spotter?

Mike
Yeah one spotter would be fine, I was just going to bring the 15X56 swaros, probably won't bring a rifle either.. That'll save a lot of weight.. Just want to bring your spotter?

We need to get a count on who's going in on Friday afternoon/night and who's going in on Saturday morning. I will be working in Lewiston on Friday and trying to get out of there by 12:00 and driving straight to Wenatchee. The way things are going it looks like I will be heading up the mountain on Saturday morning

Pending a FUBAR situation on my part, Actionshooter and I should be there around 4pm (give or take an hour). Just downloaded the maps to my phone. Looks like fun.

I just put 3 full trays of elk pasta in the dehydrator. I feel like Martha Stewart or something. Lol. This should make 4 meals about the same size as a mountain house.

I went through 1 box of pasta, 1.5 lbs. of ground elk, 2 bottles of pasta sauce and a lot of parmesan cheese. :) I still have another batch to go tomorrow. I think I'll use ground turkey and another type of pasta.

Sweet! I'm going to try and make some Mexican rice n beans with taco seasoned elk burger this week!

Would like to try a pasta of some sort as well...

Heavier than a comparably sized mountain house, but probably double the calories (and tastiness). I got 4 meals from this batch too. :)
