"Rokslide Classifieds" clogged and cluttered - consider separating?

There needs to be a tikka section, everyone trying to sell their cheap factory tikka stocks and barrels...

I'm curious....am I in the minority of folks that use the "search" to look for something? I use it when I'm looking for a particular subject in the forum, AND it works in the classifieds too. Found a tripod that I wanted last week after doing a search. Saw only tripods, plus one pack that wanted to be traded for a tripod.

There is a firearms forum for those of us in the Northwest that has every classified section listed separately, and it seems to work that way also.

Yeah I just go to advanced search > search threads > select the Classifieds parent category > sort by date and search for a keyword. Sometimes use the prefix filter.

Works pretty well.

No question search function works. I suppose most posters that have been around four or five years or more and have made posts with the bulk of them in the for sale sections are interested in conversation.

My wish would be that the classified ads didn't come up when you click what's new. If/when I'm looking to buy something, I go to the search bar and find it easily. I just get frustrated when I click on what's new only to find that Joe Scmoe has just updated his 12 classified ads again!
