It's hard, the companies have convinced us, we need caliber specific cans. It makes sense when the smaller cans are geared toward smaller cartridges. This can is tough for me because it's an OG30 except limited to .22 cal. Size, weight and price are the same. Suppression difference level is the only difference. I would be curious to know apples to apples difference between the 2. Giving up versatility for a couple Db's doesnt make sense to most. Og6s is smaller, lighter and cheaper and by all accounts suppresses .223's very effectively.Excited for feedback on the short 22 Creeds.
27 left... Might have to snag a second one. Even if it's to flex on my buddy who says they're expensive and there's cheaper cans that do the same thing
Hopefully down the road they'll be available as a mainstay item.
It's a bold strategy, Cotton. Let's see how it pays off for 'em.
I bet they still sell.
Apparently my FFL/SOT caught fire this am, I might need to as well depending on damage to the structure and contents including my rok22.27 left... Might have to snag a second one.
There goes the second gold one…Apparently my FFL/SOT caught fire this am, I might need to as well depending on damage to the structure and contents including my rok22.
Lol it was green, and I thought it looked pretty badass. There goes the second gold one…
Thats not good….. hopefully no one was injured.Apparently my FFL/SOT caught fire this am, I might need to as well depending on damage to the structure and contents including my rok22.
Have US anneal and recoat?Lol it was green, and I thought it looked pretty badass.
Anyone have any insight on what I could expect if it ended up burned? Guessing insurance claim?
Did the titanium get over 800* ? Still under warranty then lol?Have US anneal and recoat?
It sounds like it happened prior to opening, and its been raining hard today, so I am hopeful. But there is a jewelry workspace next door that could've had oxy/acetylene in the mix.Thats not good….. hopefully no one was injured.
Annealing would be to reset the Ti as I would assume it got too hot to just recoat. As long as it isn't deformed, I believe that should work, but it might be more complicated than that.Did the titanium get over 800* ? Still under warranty then lol?
Sergio finally finished his lunch, and dropped of my can at the ffl.
Went in to take a look, and it’s black. NBD, still stoked. The ffl filled out my application while I was there and I signed my part before leaving. Now to wait.
Side note: Also found out my FFL/SOT is now an unknown dealer.
Anybody in the Boise-Nampa-Caldwell area: you can order your cans at ALS Pawn and Gun in Caldwell, and save yourself the transfer fee. Plus Nicky and Jason are just good people. Happy to send more business their way.
Yeah, definitely more fun opening it in person. @Ryan Avery is in luck and will not have to put up with me at S2H. The green is pretty sweet looking though.Mine are at the SOT, but his dog broke its leg, so I won’t be able to start the paperwork for a few days. I’m not even having him look in the box yet.
