It's time. After 3 whirlwind days of a lot of work, a little family time, and repacking, I'm about to get on the road. Everything is in the truck, I kissed the wife and kids, so here I go. Months (really years) of planning went into this and only 600 miles between me and the mountain to go.
For those of you who followed the Cindy Wamsley bowhunt, I'll be truthful, I'm hesitant to leave those big Idaho deer and go somewhere else. Chances of finding another buck of that caliber is small, but I gotta try. Landowner vouchers aren't transferable more than once, I scouted a good buck and buck country when I was in Colorado in August, and I love muzzleloader hunting. Colorado, here I come!
