Rifle wet bag ?

Going to make 2 rifle bags for float hunting. I ordered 2 yards of pvc material and a can of hh66 glue. Going to shape it like a soft case and and add a sling with loops on the ends for tie downs. Roll down end like a wet bag. I never worked with pvc or hh66 any advice or thoughts?
