REI Dividines Just came out.... How much do you have?

20% off only gets you back to the retail price from the rest of the marketplace.

REI = 'really expensive items' according to my wife. I shop REI for general gear because of the return policy that no one else even comes close to. Buy it, use it for a year and if you don't like it , full refund no questions asked.

TOO FUNNY! i got mine today. I immediately opened my Evernote list called "Sh*t to Get" which of course is all bowhunting gear. Unfortunately, the $27 and 20% coupon won't cover the Scarpa Grand Dru's I pre-ordered, but maybe I'll snag a Superfeet Insert.....

REI credit card helped out.... $226. Will probably stock up on socks, some wool long underwear, a hammock for the wife, some maps and other odds and ends.

A couple weekends ago we got some major scores at the Denver Garage Sale.

I couldnt find a thing I wanted in the REI outlet pile. I did look at some cargo pants for about $55. I see better deals weekly on steepandcheap than you see on the REI sales.

The only thing I would really like to get would be some Scarpa Mont Blanc as my insulated boots. not quite willing to shell out the other 80%.

I feel the same way. I appreciate their selection of boots and good return policy. Though I could easily go in and find the boots I like and buy them for cheaper online, as a matter of principle I buy them there after they've taken the time to help me find the right boots. I've only had to return one pair and that was due to a defect after about 60 miles, no questions asked. Boots and gifts for others is all I buy there and even then I try and hold out for 20% off deals which gets you no dividend.

Yeah, I got a whopping 8.26... but I am cheap and only buy from REI when its specifically something I need new (and cant get it cheaper or easier anywhere else).

6.30...REI is expensive, but I always stop there before a trip to pick up odds and ends that I may have to get last minute, or when I am looking for one specific item that I want hands on prior to paying. Last year it was my first pair of Merino boxers the day before the trip. Yes, I overpaid, but they were in hand as I did my final pack.

The only thing I use REI for is to check stuff out in person before I find it online for cheaper. However I did get my Mastercard cash rebate in January of $448.
