Will 736
FNG
The Senate version of the BBB was updated in committee on June 14 increasing the total acreage of public lands eligible for sale to over 250 million acres in 11 states. In Idaho where I live, the total of USFS and BLM lands eligible for sale is over 21 million acres according to the Wilderness Society . https://www.wilderness.org/articles...on-acres-public-lands-eligible-sale-senr-bill
The bill also greatly increases leasing on public lands for commercial purposes (mining, logging, oil and gas production, etc). Go the Wilderness Society website and check out the details. They are doing the best job of tracking the details.
Then call your Senators and urge them to remove these provisions from the BBB. I understand that Senator Risch of Idaho is on the fence and his office is literally counting the number of calls they get. He is a critical vote. If you sit this one out there will irreparable damage to DIY hunting in the west. Make the calls.
