Proof prefits over custom chambered?

I have a Kelblys Atlas Lite and I'm looking at prefits. Most are 8-10 weeks out. Proof makes prefits that I can get immediately but have heard of issues in the past.

Found a benchmark blank for around 600 shipped.
Chamber job is 300(end of September early October)
Which makes it cost nearly the same.

Opinions on Proof prefits.

I have one and it shoots great. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy one again if I was going carbon and it was the chamber and length I wanted.
