Yep they tested the waters and determined that non resident hunters are an unlimited resource so they can pretty much do whatever they want.

Can someone explain…. Last year and the year before they generated a certain amount of money. What changes every single year that causes the need for them to keep increasing their income by millions more from the previous year? I know game management isn’t cheap but does it really increase that much every 12 months?

(at some point the states should just say Fu*# it. We aren't dealing with grizzly bears. If someone shoots a bad actor including a bear eating an elk carcass with a $2000 NR tag on it, let the feds or the bear huggers deal with it.)

With a big decline in Antelope numbers and reduced tags available for Antelope and Mule Deer those dollars have to now come from somewhere else and they are absolutely correct the non resident will pay it. The market is there, guys and gals are willing and accustom to paying to play these days. What a time to be alive.

The nonresident price absolutely should be increased, preference points, too. If they can increase revenue, it's a win for WGF. If the number of applicants and points buyers is decreased, it's a win for everyone that is serious about hunting WY.

One could always move to Wyoming to access the resident hunting benefits. Otherwise, why should WGF limit their revenue? There will be a buyer happy to pay.

The entire country bitches about the price of eggs but it's not ok to bitch about a fee going from $15 to $75 right after a tag increase.

If you fear anything fear, the people who keep looking to your wallet to support their agendas. I was born 100 years too late. I’m sure there were people who warned the guys at the Boston tea party about what would happen if they got caught. Instead, we stuck it to the British and moved on.

There may come a day where I literally cannot afford to hunt elk. But elk hunting is my life so that’s not going to stop me.

I’m all about wildlife management. We are the leading conservationists in this country. But I’m just not buying it. I don’t think they need that much money. And if they do, it’s because they invented reasons to need it. I know a lot of entities who would make sure they spent all the money and then some to be sure they would get an increased budget the following year. Who in the world needs to eat increase their income by a couple million dollars every year? You and I would be out of business. Our services would no longer be needed.

Follow the money. State game agencies have become something akin to our federal government.
