Ah, spring: highs in the 50s, river discharge bumping, turkeys already getting frisky, and, of course, the good ol arduous work capacity test.

Anyone else racking up the 45 lb miles training for pack test?

I just hate how you have to “walk”. Makes it a little tougher haha

That’s cool - I’m from the old step test days and don’t recall hearing about this new test - I like it. 3 miles in 45 minutes is moving right along. A lot of slow walkers must struggle with it, and natural fast walkers do well. Fast walkers are better workers anyway. Lol

As a practical matter it must be a lot easier to evaluate a large group with the new test.
