My employer is opting out of weekly testing. So it's vax, religious exemption, lose your job.
Good luck with your religious exemption.

That would be another thing if someone has a copy of a well written religious exemption request would you please post that up or send it to me as well.

Is there still an issue if it is found to be constitutional?

By who, a bunch of activists in black robes?

Last time I checked, we as Americans have a few unalienable rights. I don't need any "constitutional scholars" to tell me that a executive branch edict requiring an individual inject an unwanted substance into their body or be denied the ability to earn a living and therefore their chance to secure Life, Liberty and Pursuit of happiness as grossly unconstitutional and immoral.

I will not comply with any of it. My household has prepared to go Galt if it comes to that. Anyone who beleives in independence and individuality should be prepared to do the same. Don't bend the knee.

How can it possibly be constitutional to allow the government to dictate our healthcare choices. If that's constitutional, then they could show up at your door tomorrow and TELL you that your mandated kidney surgery is scheduled for the next day. How can that be constitutional?

Not sure on the religious exceptions either, I believe numerous companies have just put people on unpaid leave or denied. I think the supremer court just had a case. Will be interesting to see it play out and if the mandate impacts a significant number of people. It seems people get all excited and the fall out is minimal these days.

Good luck with your religious exemption.

Several co-workers have filed them and are waiting to hear back. I'll report back if I hear, and this thread is still open.

Going to be lots of employment options for those that are vaccinated...
Totally true. There must be a shit load of unemployed, well trained, well educated, qualified, VACCINATED folks sitting around just wishing they had they’re one break in life. We all know there are way too many nurses and healthcare workers, making it impossible for newly qualified healthcare workers to find work. And you can substitute the word healthcare worker with teacher, military personnel, and any other essential worker to our society that are short staffed to the extreme. My wife lost her job as a registered nurse from this. As did many others. They are currently hiring healthcare workers from Haiti to replace them. Is that the employment opportunities you speak of? Your comment is insensitive and idiotic, and definitely not something you would say to the face of a husband who has held his wife crying after losing her nursing job after 20 years of taking care of folks like you and your family.

Sorry to hear about your wife. If my co-workers don't have their religious exemptions approved, we are going to be in worse shape than we already are.

The fact that we have to make up some half hearted religious reasoning is even more disheartening. More lawsuits need to be filed. If you threaten their money they seem to be more interested in your rights and freedoms.

Ask SouthWest Airlines how their mandate was received and why they had to cancel all of those flights. Same with American.

This is an Atlas Shrugged moment, we have power in numbers. if we don't stand now things are going to get a lot worse.

Reminds me of that scene in Antz:

"I am John Galt and I will stop the motor of the world"

I have been thinking about this a lot lately. If I stopped working every day there are literally 10's of Millions of dollars worth of projects that don't move forward. I am not entirely unreplaceable but pretty close to it based on the feedback from my customers. Imagine the ripple is 10,000 skilled workers said no. It would be noticable.

I believe the mandate is for businesses.

To those looking to claim a religious exemption, you better hope those are handled differently then they were by the school district around here. The school board "granted" the religious exemption and then promptly put any teacher that claimed it on unpaid leave, indefinitely. My son lost 2 of his high school teachers last month to this garbage, including one who had just recovered from C-19 and obviously has immunity. The shortage of teachers is bad enough now that they dropped the minimum requirements to be a teacher in this state from needing a masters degree to now just a high school diploma. Obviously, it's "for the kids". Imagine the mess that has already started and will continue to grow with a lack of 1st responders and healthcare workers. "Build back better" must be doublespeak for "Tear down faster."

people are pretty wound up these days. There are checks and balances, a 3 branch system in place for a reason.
You think people shouldn't be wound pretty tight after the mess of the last 2 years? Of course we are wound tight. We are being told we need to force injections onto our employees or be fined out of existence. This is heavy handed government overreach.

It will ultimately land in court but not before the deadline when they start leveling huge fines on honest hardworking business people. How many small businesses are going to rack up fines hoping the decision gets over ruled? This is coercion plain and simple.

Read an article about it from the local paper here today. The Public Health person from the University they interviewed said that the mandate is "the little push" people will need to get vaccinated. Weird, its a "little push" for me to "willingly" get vaccinated when you threaten to take my livelihood away.

Officer that guy willingly gave me his wallet when I put a gun to his head.
