Went down to Sonora for 10 days last week. The ranch was kind of a bust 8 tags were filled but no giants were seen. I ended up dumping a decent 3x4 with the 30-06 at 300yds. The high shoulder shot with the 151g Hammers dropped it in its tracks.

Definitely not the caliber of buck I was after but there are a lot worst places to be in January.
