Official Rokslide Group Buy - Unknown Suppressors OG-6S

You guys with criminal dealers that charge $100 or more should just get your own FFL/SOT lol. If the information is pretend correctly and painlessly it’s literally a couple pages of light data entry on a website. Lawyers and Doctors charge less per minute of work!

It's the kiosk- they pay around 25k for it, and they want to earn that back. There is only one of them by me. And it's 35 miles away. I had him get set up as an US dealer, but on this group buy he only makes money by charging the trans fee.

They got duped. There is no need for a kiosk. You buy from US, or any other manufacturer or distributor, they Form 3 it to your dealer, your dealer Form 4's it to you. I could teach my 4 year old to fill out a Form 3 or 4 on eForms.

Truth... My SOT charges 50$ to most anyone and if you are regular, the fee is 40-20$. He told me he has less than 10 minutes of his time in a transfer, so long as I am in his system with prints.

No clue what the kiosk costs but at some point in time you need finger prints put into the silencer shop system (or whatever other system you are using for eforms unless you have a personal digitized file of your finger prints). You don't repeatedly need the kiosk but if its your first time dealing with SS you do need to use one.

Yea once your prints and photos are in their digital system the Transfers are easy, but the first one it takes a lot more time to get setup and most people need to be really walked through it the first time. I think $100 isn't outrageous the first time for setting you up and taking prints and photos. But it's easy money after that would be nice if they did subsequent transfers for $40-50...or 25 like a normal firearm transfer since it's really no harder at that point. BUT they also are running a business and want you to buy suppressors from their inventory rather than just using them for transfers.

UPS offers digital fingerprints that work with e forms. You don’t have to use the kiosk.

This isn’t directed at you, just putting it out there for anyone who is just starting the process.

Right, I was saying that above when I mentioned the personal digitized file. So you don't NEED to use the Kiosk but most folks don't have their prints on file so most "need" to once with SS unless they pursue that option. :)

I think this is the real reason for most of the dealers. I’m sure it’s tough to run a brick and mortar store and compete with all the online stuff.

Maybe it’s a store specific thing, but Billings Scheels said they don’t do transfers. It’s a bummer - I have my prints and photo in their system so it’d be super easy.
Looking like Murdochs might be worth the drive. Local charged 130 last time about ate up the whole discount. And they Ofcourse have my prints on ss kiosk and scheels kiosk from purchases direct through them. Took them zero time.

I saw it asked but did not see an answer.

What are the barrel length restrictions, if any? Nothing listed on US page, either.
