It'll be my first one with my father in law! I never got to hunt when I lived out in Montana so i'm excited to go back and hunt finally if that's the case.

Have you checked you FIL account too? Only reason I asked is the released tags (unless they changed it this year) they break up your group application and use pref points for those too. So you having 2pp would/couldve drawn but your FIL with 1 may very well not have.

So I may have screwed something up in the application so looking for some answers. My buddy and I applied as a party with no intention of hunting in 2025, we were shooting for 2026. He went in with 1 point, I went in with 2 for an average of 1.5. It’s showing that I drew the elk combination but he did not. How is that possible? Really not sure what I’ll do now since I was planning on drawing Colorado this year.

Success on the general and permit for me and one of the other two guys that applied. We didn't go in as a party, which is good based on what I found out about the mix of points between us after the fact
