Yes that means you drew a tag from someone that returned it because they didn’t draw their permit. Congrats!

It'll be my first one with my father in law! I never got to hunt when I lived out in Montana so i'm excited to go back and hunt finally if that's the case.

Pro tip: Take screenshots of it now. A couple years ago my dad had shown as drawing a released tag and then later showed as not successful. He got a tag by having screenshots and FWP honored the glitch in their system.

Just to add to the information, I had two points and my FIL has one preference point. That put our party at 1.5 point average and we got a tag. I can confirm from the backdoor email trick I hold a General elk Combo license

Go to your FWP account, under "My FWP Information", and request a copy of your non carcass tag licenses

Last couple years my e-tag has shown in my app a good bit before results were available. Anybody with etags checked their app yet?

Backdoor look-up still shows draw pending. The regular look-up still shows draw pending. No emails have been sent saying the draw is in progress. Nothing showing up in E-Tags.

My non-carcass tag license does say I have a non-resident big game combo but I think that's just listing the fact I applied for the license. I don't think the draw has happened despite our greatest hopes and dreams.
