I drew 3rd Choice Barbary. Looking forward to chasing them again.

I drew 1st choice Barbary and a javelina tag. Plus I already drew spring bear. Better than last year going 0 for 8 as a resident. Plus I have friends that let me hunt antelope and cow elk so should be a pretty good year.

We had 3 different individual applications through the outfitter pool and 1 DIY app all for elk and all unsuccessful.
At least we had a chance, right?
The good news is next year we have the exact same (or close to it) abysmal chance.

Dang...I'm only 0/4 so far. I'm really not surprised though. If I'm going to drive that far, I want a good unit and those odds are horrendous to put it nicely haha! I always have home to fall back on which is nice. I feel bad for those that don't have that option. There's always a bright side!
