Nightforce NX6 Lineup

No one that holds over in competition wins. You dial elevation, and hold wind just like everywhere else.
I've been out of it for a couple years, but everyone that could place toward the top could dial 9 or 10 times in a 90 second stage and do well. The only time any of us held over was on enormous targets or when the cof forced it. I'm not sure if there are uses in military applications, but in hunting/prs shooting there are better methods than hold over.
Already answered, but no. No one is holding over and winning in matches. The reticle was not optimized for anything except to please the “gas gun” shooters that don’t actually use them.
The problem is, most people that buy this stuff don't actually shoot. I got into it with the engineers at a large optics company about how their most expensive scope couldn't hold zero for a car ride in a pelican case (guess who). They told me, "No one else is complaining."

I asked, "No, one, or just less than 1%?"
They responded, "Well....silence."
That's what I thought. The <1% that actually use their stuff are having problems, but the status symbol owners love them and have no problems.
They basically told me it doesn't materially effect sales so piss off. I brought it up in a group of sponsored shooters after a match. They were all feeling the same after the next scope was released with the same problems. All but one of them were going to jump ship. Maybe it effected sales, maybe it didn't. Who knows? YouTube marketing is powerful.

TLDR: All product decisions are about $$$,$$$ or $,$$$,$$$ for these companies.
