NFA Approval after January 1

Still waiting on three form 4's from 1/5. One from 1/12 and 1/16.

filed two Form 4's on the 11th. one was approved on 24th, but not the other. Don't ask me how that works because it has a lower control number than the one that was approved. I did not recieve an Email from the ATF. The LGS called. My LGS did not know it was an issue with people not gettting emails from the ATF. He just called because it was the first one approved this year for his store. If you've waited more than two weeks probably worth calling your dealer to see if it has been approved.

Will see how long mine takes. Just bought my first one today while out of state visiting a buddy in FL. Might take a bit longer with the transfer back to home. But ill see

Dang my buddy who filed at the beginning of the month got his back in 3 days. Guessing that isn’t the case now. I filed on 1/23 I’ll update when I get it back

I’d also like to point out I wouldn’t rely on SS to update the status of your application in your NFA vault. Mine has been approved a week & still shows “in progress” on SS

I'm pretty sure that's the job of your local dealer/SOT to update.

I’m trying to think of how to navigate this with my dealer. I’m assuming once they receive the ATF approval email they would automatically do this. Wondering if it’s worth bugging them again or not

I was at my SOT and they were saying they don't trust the SS sote to up date and need to log into eforms to check. They had a person were no email was sent after someone got approved and the only way they found the approval was checking eforms.

Anyway, their comment makes me the the SOT doesn't update the status on SS.
