I guess I must be an old guy with bad eyesight who can’t see my colors like you referenced above.
I own SLC, ELSV, Meostar HD, Gold Ring HD, Fury AB, and UHD. You have no idea what you're talking about with regards to the UHD, so quit while you're behind, you're making a fool of yourself.Like I said, 10% of guys have some degree of colorblindness. It's definitely a possibility.
My vocation involves a lot of color-matching and color correction, and I'm really good at it.
I know the people who love vortex are going to defend them regardless of the evidence presented. There will always be an excuse.
The camera is out of focus
Someone else took the photos
None of my friends can see color
If you don't own it you can't criticize it
Look how pink the pink flowers are in my pictures of pink flowers
But they're so cheap compared to alpha glass
The warranty is so good though
Whatever. I'm not buying or using or recommending vortex hd or uhd glass because I don't like the color rendering. It's unnaturally pink. Period.
If you like it, cool. I just don't understand the compulsion to personally advocate and advertise for companies who literally do not know you exist. It's so weird.
Look up 'Vortex Relay Network' and you find one currently-released product (the Impact 4000). I see what looks like a wind meter in that photo. Also this.Is this some sort of catalog, or what?
The video definitely has a wind meter!!!Look up 'Vortex Relay Network' and you find one currently-released product (the Impact 4000). I see what looks like a wind meter in that photo. Also this.
There’s a 12x but no reticle unfortunately.Man I was hoping for 12-15x and a mil reticle like the vector x.
The 10x42 razor UHD are 32 ounces with no batteries or rangefinder tech so if they used that platform (which they are just as big so I can believe it) adding 8 ounces for batteries and an LRF is somewhat believable, not that it is good or acceptable.41 oz for the 10x is crazy. Do these things take lead-acid batteries? How is that even possible.
That is my logic as well. One of my friends despised the vortex fury binoculars because the solution took two seconds to generate, but he is perfectly fine with having a separate rangefinder that he has to drop his binoculars, pull out another device, reacquire the target and then range to get a solution. never quite understood how it is faster to use a separate rangefinder.Swaro 10x42s are around or just under 30oz correct? And a good range finder is about 5 to 8 oz. I agree these are too heavy, but at least you are replacing a device with them.
My big reason for wanting this type of product...if you think of a hunting situation, you grab your binos to look at an animal...decide it is a shooter, setup, pull up your range finder, then likely your phone or dope chart from the side of your rifle or pocket...then you can shoot if you use a scope with a tree...or you have to dial.
With these on your chest, you see the animal, get the dope right there....setup your rifle and are ready to shoot. If you have an animal moving through a clearing...the time savings could be the difference between killing that animal or missing your chance.
