Looks like I could still get one through the Staccato Heroes program (full size grip, not compact). So I ordered one a month earlier than I planned.

Edit: if anyone else is looking for one and falls under Staccato's heroes program you should use it.

Not available. I noticed a few weeks back they went showing not available.

Only reason I was leaning towards the compact grip is the close size to a G19. There's a few other retailers that have the compact as an option it looks like. But I also like saving a little dinero. I've still got a MRC Marshall to pay for whenever it comes in.

Edit: It's the CS as well. The two guns use the same magazine. But the C2 is not part of the changes.

Not sure why it didn't click earlier, but the doublestack C only went to market last year. It's crazy to think that it will have essentially been only a 2-year run of this model.

Not a bit. Very good mags. The larger market for Staccato’s loves Glocks.

Im just glad I picked up a c and extra mags this summer. I shot the c, c2, and p4. Didn’t like the p4 grip. I liked that the C has an external extractor, thinner grip, and arguably better mags over the c2.

Hopefully there are enough out there left for the guys that were planning on it to jump on one.

I understand the business decision. Same reason why everyone builds stocks with crap ergonomics and scopes that don’t hold zero…

Silly suppressor host to me (just personal preference), but you could always put a comp on it and make it similar in profile to a c with the short grip.

There's a couple of compact-grip Cs on Gunbroker right now. Given how many rounds some guys have on their Staccatos, I wouldn't hesitate to buy used at all, if that's the model you'd prefer.

The average cop can’t even hit a C-Zone at 25 yards. Accommodating LE’s wants and desires is a race to the bottom aside from a few specific units/teams/agencies that are actually competent.

Yes, they honor it the best they can. I had a single stack c a long while ago. Something caused it to hiccup and they sent me a new gun- they had a bunch on the shelf after being discontinued. I couldn’t ask for a better outcome.
