NEW Kifaru Frame & Suspension Review

When did you place your order? I ordered the exact same thing on 7/14 and haven't heard anything from them regarding shipping. Already missed my wilderness archery hunt for CA blacktail and I'm planning on going again as soon as the pack comes.

If you guys haven't heard or received an email Aron posted exactly what was in the email. They aren't calling or sending personal emails. The best bet to find out anything is to give them a call but they may not be able to give an exact answer. They are a small operation.

The good thing is even with the delay this is the quickest a new release has been shipped. It could be worse, just think of a 6 month Kuiu backorder with no idea of when items will be instock, so compared to them they are doing pretty well

That said maybe next time they'll release their new stuff in the future a tad earlier or after hunting season but there will never be a perfect time.

Yeah, this timing being early enough that it MIGHT make it in time for archery is making things so much worse. Their phone was ringing off the hook today. With CS being closed till Tue I'm sure that will be a fun day for them too.

I placed my order as soon as it was available. I am guessing hundreds of guys placed orders when they first went up. I hope you get yours soon brother. I held onto my other frame because I was not sure I would like this one better. Plus it is always good to have a backup.

SG has a great pack, it is all what you consider worth waiting for.

I hope my post didn't come across as a complaint, it was just an inquiry. I'm really excited as this is my first Kifaru pack. Good things are typically worth the wait. I honestly don't mind, just trying to plan my next hunt. I borrowed my friend's KUIU Icon 7200 last week and other than how noisy it was I was very impressed with how comfortable it was to carry. I'm looking forward to doing a back-to-back comparison.

Wow! The new frame is worth the wait. Adjustments are super simple and it is comfortable!

I'm not in the office right now, but I just talked to shipping. They're shipping out 50 more frames and bags by COB Monday.

That should solve some of the issues we/I/you all are having.

If the stars align, we should be totally caught up by the end of the week (I'm typing and praying at the same time ).

We appreciate the understanding as we get caught up.

No not at all, I just canceled frame/pack combo but poolouts and supertarp, this stuff should be at my place in a middle of next week. But i did learn my lesson if you need something from Kifaru order at list 4 months in advance, you know just to be safe.

There's far worse things than a late shipment guys. My pack shipped but my back and leg knee went out 3 weeks before my CO elk hunt. Can barely walk and in a lot of pain so if you're fit and must make do with whatcha got...count your blessings. Better to be in your shoes than mine.

Mine arrived on Wed of this past week and I was out of town. I got home and the next day I had to change the brakes on the van to head down to the state fair.... I opened the box and saw the frame and some other goodies. Didn't even have the chance to pull it out of the box!

Can't wait until tomorrow when I get home!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't see how Kifaru messed up your hunt, a deboned blacktail weighs about 30-40lbs on average. What am I missing?

Pretty tough to carry all of your gear and 30-40 pounds of meat without a pack.
