I would like to get a new tent this year. I was at my local Golite store and checked out the new Golite Imogene UL3 tent with foot print. Looks like a good option for a Colorado, NM, Nevada, AZ. hunt. The tent, fly, footprint, pegs, and guylines should be at 3.5 pounds. Fast and light option should be around 2 lbs. But I will need to sell my Big Agnes Seedhouse SL2 w/ footprint first. Anyone interested????

Oh, and I tried to sneak in the Bikini and high camp for the wife but she decided my old pack was good enough for now.
My master plan to pick up both kind of back fired.

New this year:
HC w/ bikini and some accessories - replaced an EMS pack
Megatarp - replaced an eureka 2 man
Mathews helim with all new accessories - replaced an old Oneida bow
Crispi boots - replaced montrail boots

Still need to buy:
BA q core to replace a heavy EMS sleeping pad
New rangefinder (have not decided which one)
Black diamond trekking poles

Moving to Utah from upstate NY has been a little expensive on my (normal) gear budget, but much needed.

Eureka Solitaire (replaces a slumberjack taku bivy that was like sleeping in a sauna because of all the condensation)

I jumped into the deep end head first!! I owe a lot of my spending problems to this site!

Kifaru bikini DT2
OR advanced bivy
Thermarest neo air xlite
Garmin Oregon 450
Nikon rangefinder
Core4 element pants and jacket
Core4 torrent jacket
Core4 base layers

Plus Hoyt Charger for Xmas, and can't stop upgrading components!

Do they have classes I could take for this spending problem? My wife may soon divorce me if this continues.

It sort of hurts writing it all out. An lintond. Don't forget those new carbon arrows you are going to need.

I won't say reading everybody else's posts made me feel any better, but at least I see quite a few in here that have me beat. I, honest to god, can't think of everything since last season, but here are some highlights:

Spot
Lowa Ranger GTX
Propper Ultra Lightweight Rain Gear (top and bottom)
Sitka Stormfront gloves
Zeiss Victory 10x45 RF binos
Redram Merino base layers (top and bottom)
DT1 bag, bikini frame with grab-it and hanging meat bag
FHF bino harness, range finder pouch, GPS pouch, and bear spray holster
Prime Shift LR with MBG Ascent w/4" dovetail, tight spot quiver, QAD rest, bee stinger stab, and Tru-ball Max Pro 4 release
Dozen Injexion arrows
Gerber shovel, SOG tomahawk
Hunt Maps SD card

I still have a couple of items to pick up, but I don't even wan to list them. Please God, don't let te wife find this post.

As for the thread:

New binos: Going from Zeiss 10X32 Victories to 12X50 Razor HDs from Vortex....might not even be an upgrade just trying something else. (weight savings=+9 oz)

New pack: Gonna give the Bikini/Highcamp setup a whirl this year. If it doesn't work out I can always revert to the Duplex/8500 setup which I know works like a champ for me. :D However going from a 7 pound pack to one that is 4.5 pounds will be very nice. (Weight savings=-2.5 pounds)

Also got 850 down hooded jacket and pants to use this year on our summer hiking trips and what not. Saves Becca and I each 1.5pounds with this and we gain an insulated hood. However for $300 apiece to upgrade to 850 jackets and pants it was a spendy 3 pounds we are saving. (Weight Savings=-3 pounds)

A zpacks hexamid solo plus. Comes in at 12 oz with enough stakes to guy otu every point and all guylines installed. Compared to roughly 30 oz for the megatarp with all the guylines and stakes for everything we are saving another 1.5 pounds there. (Weight savings=-1.5 pounds)

So should be roughly 6.5 pounds lighter between Becca and I going in, which is always a welcomed thing especially being that 5 pounds of it is coming off my pack ;)

Other than that the rest of it is boringly the same....

He forgot to mention we upgraded our Sat phone too. Saved a few ounces going to the Iridium 9555...
