On a side note, flown a dozen times with my SG Terminus on AK Air. Never a problem in the overhead. Just got a DT1, wont be a problem either.

Nice pic FTF, looks like no regrets going with the 7K bag over the 4800 huh :) Great stuff for sure!

I just opened the box on my BT1. My first though was oh my god this is huge...did I just order the wrong bag? The more I mess with it, the more I like it. It compresses enough to be a small bag and looks big enough to fit a bear. Also the flexibility is incredible.

I switched from an original astralplane and the bikini fit is everything I was hoping for!

4800 was never really thought but it is funny, how thursday i was like, man, i dont think i could ever use all this space and by saturday its close to cubed out

Oh I know you weren't, I just get a kick out of people saying they'd never cube out a 7K bag.....hides and capes eat up space quick especially when packing out meat and camp as well...

Hi guys, new member here.. I need some info on frames and bags. Most likely looking at a Bikini frame, with either the 4800 High camp, or the DT2 bag.

Give me your thoughts please, The most basic line of thought is, either way you will have a bag around 5000 c.i. and the only real visible difference is the pockets.

Who likes the fixed pockets on the DT series? Who prefers the movable/diff sizing of pockets on the H.C.?

What is this "roll top" on the H.C.? K connectors?

Does the Bikini have better venting for your back with what appears to be room for airflow, than the duplex or standard Timberline?

The divider in the DT2, you like?

Thanks, Ken.
