Hey has anymone used the gun bearer system on their packs and if so does it work good trying to figure out accessories for my order.
Thanks

It's a must have item in my opinion. Once you use one you will never go back to a sling or hand carrying your weapon for hunting.

If I was fighting my rifle would be in my hands but the gun bearer is almost as fast and WAY more comfortable.

The other must have accessories for me are my small belt pockets and Grab-it with lash kit.

You ordered the frame and bag didn't you? I see its there when ordering the complete package, but not on the frame only order page(which is how I started).

if you start at the frame page, it defaults to 26" but does not ask for regular or flat back option as does the bag page.

Do you have cordura or KU pockets and grab it?

Does a gun bearer have any use for packing a bow?

Matching Multicam Cordura pockets and Grab-It. The KU accessories are not enough of a weight savings for me to justify the look and feel of the material. I tried them. Call me gay. :)

The Gun Bearer is useless for a bow IMHO. The Grab-It and one lash strap however is perfect for packing a bow when you're not hunting. I'll wrap my rain jacket around the bottom cam in the Grab-It for added protection.

That's what I ended up with, the E&E will be the lid and I'll run my ku pockets for organising and attach on the outside as needed.

Thats exactly what I will end up running. An E&E as a lid, 2 belt pockets, 1 cordura large cause i already have it, and ill be picking up a md KU. Im thinking of going with a KU grab it as well.

Might also pick up a KU long pocket for a spotter when I do end up taking one, im thinking slapping it right in the middle under the bungee will be an awsome place for it.

I just got finished with my morning cardio, and I'm more impressed with the comfort of this frame every time I head out.

I've been going back and forth from Duplex to Bikini Duplex, and it's amazing how much more comfortable the bikini is with standard loads (35-50). After 50ish it starts to balance back out and with heavy weight (above 70), you can't tell any difference (I can't anyway).

I just need to get some blood on the new frame and it will officially be bad ass!

You shooting state indoor tomorrow? With my eyes getting worse by the day indoors have really become a struggle...I'm lucky to shoot a 290 anymore.

Aron, it seems that the wait for one of the new bags may be getting longer and longer. I'm pretty sure I want one but probably won't be ready to lay down the cash until May or June. I know you probably don't have a crystal ball that tells the future but, if I waited that long to order what might the wait be?
