This was the best way I could come up with to show connection points for SR buckles and K connectors.

Can you post up the highcamp bag with an E&E as a lid? I know not really light weight but something I'm interested in :)

I would like to see this as well. Looks like the t1 is sold, cant wait to order up a high camp! E&E and 2 medium KU belt pockets is what Ill be running on it.

Only decision now is to go with the High camp 1 or 2

Im liking the looks of that back pouch and grab it, especially for working out all summer, I can throw my E&E on with some weight sandwiched with the E&E and grab it and ill be good to go.

Go with the big one, you can always use extra space :). Talked to Aron last night and the big one is just a little smaller then the T1 which I like the size of.

You also wrote that Kifaru won't be offering the bikini frame in other colors than black because it's another type of fabric that is lighter that the fabric on duplex. I would happily carry an oz or two more if I was able to choose a color on the bikini frame that matches the bag I choose as with the duplex frame. I really hate black... :) but I really like the weight savings with the bikini...

Aron, please confirm that the Bikini can't be ordered in the Highlander pattern? I would accept a weight penalty in order to keep the pattern consistent with the bag, belt and shoulder straps.

Im not sure I need that much, im a smaller guy, so I can't carry the amount some of you guys can.

Im thinking with the 4800 bag, +1000 for the E&E which will always be on, +500 for those 2 belt pockets. That should me more than I need.

Not sure I need 8000 cubic inches, that's a hell of a lot!

I'm on the stair stepper, so excuse any typing issues!

I would say around 50lbd.....most of that is do to the fixed torso pads on the duplex, when compared to the bikini. This is obviously my opinion and is subjective, but the torso pads shift/roll on the b frame and allow for a little better torsional/lateral movement. U also get better venting.

The black material is very durable, just like the standard stuff, BUT it only comes in black and the weight increase was 3.5 ounces for standard.

Thanks for the reply Aron.
I'm gonna use it mostly as a daypack, but the minimum weight of my daypack is 30-35 lbs that I always have in it. Occasionally it's much more weight and stuff in the pack and sometimes it's reall heavy. I haven't decided on the DT2 or DT1 yet. I also have to decide which frame...
Will a small pocket on the waistbelt bounce around with a GPS in it since there's only two attachement points?

If you read the entire thread he has stated about 10 times that it will only be in black, sounds like you can get it in any color as long as it's black :)

Patrick just responded to this over on Kifaru. The lighter weight they are using only comes in black. They are not going away from the weight savings with different colors. I too would prefer anything but black butnot an option at this time. Doesn't look that bad. Just a mental thing I guess?

Sounds like the smaller bag is a tad bigger then 4800 also. I just know that my ku5200 filled up fast.
