Are the stays in this bikini frame adjustable to each individual back? Are they designed to be bent or moved in any way to fit individuals?

Sorry it wasnt as long ago back as I had originally thought. Here are some pics to better explain. Is this possible with the bikini waist belt?ImageUploadedByTapatalk1356887070.629427.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1356887079.283853.jpg

Maybe I missed it but where is the heavy load out kit on the website?

I would ask Aron this one, I didn't see it either and think he said it wasn't available yet but could be wrong. My post was based on the powerpulls and my familiarity with them, easy to spot :)

The Stays ARE NOT adjustable. They are VERY stiff Carbon/wood material. They do come in 2 options. Standard Bend and Flat back. The Flat Back is not actually flat. It is just a bit less bent than the standard stays. Many people including myself found a great amount of pain directed on the LUMBAR pad. Installing Flat Back stays in the pack fixed the problem and carries like a dream.

You know, based on a video I saw with Aron and Kevin describing how to measure the small of your back to determine if you need a flat or standard bend stay, my wife was able to get her hand through when I had my heels, butt/back against a wall I determined I would fit the standard bend. However, when I read a comment like this I wonder if a flat would be preferred. Any feedback?

I have owned Kifaru packs for 13+ years. However I never had a Duplex Suspension pack. All Omni and Wrap Tech suspensions. I purchased the DT3 with standard Composite stays. EXACTLY LIKE MY T3. However once on and tightened down, I could instantly feel excessive pressure from the lumbar pad. When loaded and carried it was bad. I changed to a smaller lumbar pad, aluminum stays but it still did not feel perfect like all my other Kifaru Packs. After reading a few posts by Aron I purchased the Flat Back stays. They are NOT FLAT per say but just a little less bend than the standeard stays. That little less of a bend made a HUGE difference!!! My DT3 is every bit as comfortable as all my other Kifaru packs.

The best thing to do is call or email myself or Patrick and we will instruct you on what stay to choose.

great CS right there. keep up the good work

Talked on the phone with Aron this morning. Long story short, reading back at some of my post's even "I" would say it appeared as though I had a possible axe to grind. I apologize. I can see why Aron and others here would feel that way. I'll be working on my online manners/translation. Aron is a stand up guy and very professional with his attitude and approach. Kifaru is damn lucky to have him on board. Nuff said
