By chance have you worn both the 1/4 zip and the crewneck?

If you have a short neck, I'd get the 1/4 zip unless you're dead set on green.

Be prepared for a really thick sweater. It's like a toboggan hat for your body. Almost 2 sweaters thick.

This set of tools is interesting.

I saw reviews on amazon where it was said the tool without the hook is useless.

In the instance of the ranger sweater, it's the other way around.

The hook tool would be good for a really thick yarn where you can single out strands and manipulate them.

The ranger sweater threads are really thin.

My mess on the ranger sweater cleaned up by sending the raspy needle down thru the garment a bunch of times to pull all that crap down into itself. Not perfect but better.

I could have gotten silly and pulled out the stereo microscope I suppose but that would blow the lid off the Nerding Out Meter.

My camels have pilled less than yak, not that it matters much. Yaks are softer but slicker and slightly warmer. I haven't noticed any significant difference in moisture wicking. I actually prefer the sheep socks for everyday/long-term wear but they aren't listed on the US site right now. Unless you like thigh highs

It came up earlier in the thread so I figured I’d share. I recently ditched the SG shoulder harness on my beeno pouch for the FHF Overwatch.
First off, the description states/shows that it comes with female repair buckles(and strap keepers) but mine didn’t have either. Just the 4 male buckles on each end. Not a huge deal but just saying. Luckily I have a bunch of spares laying around so I made it work.
The good: By far the most comfortable harness I’ve used ever. The geometry is perfect. From the back, it kicks the straps out wide enough to not pinch or even come in contact with your neck. Also the webbing is wide enough to distribute weight comfortably and it’s thin enough to not add unnecessary bulk under your back pack. It does its job great and holds everything firm and proper, like they all should but never seem to. Highly recommend.

I ordered the same. I noticed mine didn’t come with buckles as they advertised. I contacted them. Stole a few from my current AGC to make it work. I need to mess with it some more but I agree- the positioning and geometry is great.

I will also put this harness on my AGC just to compare.

Just tied it on. Theres someone here at the current class with a sheath that uses Ulti clips (sp) that I will get made up.
