By chance have you worn both the 1/4 zip and the crewneck?

I've spent the last couple months waffling about 1/4 zip, crewneck, or Filson guide henley.

If you have a short neck, I'd get the 1/4 zip unless you're dead set on green.

Be prepared for a really thick sweater. It's like a toboggan hat for your body. Almost 2 sweaters thick.

This set of tools is interesting.

I saw reviews on amazon where it was said the tool without the hook is useless.

In the instance of the ranger sweater, it's the other way around.

The hook tool would be good for a really thick yarn where you can single out strands and manipulate them.

The ranger sweater threads are really thin.

My mess on the ranger sweater cleaned up by sending the raspy needle down thru the garment a bunch of times to pull all that crap down into itself. Not perfect but better.

I could have gotten silly and pulled out the stereo microscope I suppose but that would blow the lid off the Nerding Out Meter.
