The SG side bags on the Exo looks like a great add on. Are you guys running out of volume in the pack or just looking for better pocket layout/access or something else?

Anybody know what kind of modification would be necessary (if it could be done at all) to add the side bags to a SG Sky5900?

Formidilosus - I couldn’t find the details on the contents of your emergency stash in your bino harness that you only open in a real emergency that’s the cue to you that you need to end your trip. Can you go over what’s in that and why you started doing that?

Cheers for the info form always enjoy reading your posts

Im glad im not the only one that found that with the 4k side pockets except i have found it a bonus compaired to my older ospray pack in that it keeps the profile smoother and found it much better over all for nz hunting as it doesn't snag on every and anything. I havnt used in the snow yet tho might change then or when i really have to load it up.

Form, how would you compare the fit of the SG Grumman to the Kifaru LPP. I’m a medium in everything but the LPP has the volume inside of it of a large, to be able to layer. This works perfectly for me. I’m wondering if the Grumman is more form fitting where a base and mid layer would be the only thing comfortable underneath, or it’s very roomy like the LPP

The Grumman is more form fitting. If you want to layer much under it, you’ll want to size up.

I will try to write out the contents this week.
