Thanks, don’t have the side bags on hand yet. Bought the EXO knowing I would prob want the side bags, confirmed that pretty quickly.

Being able to access things without undoing the main compression straps. The SG side bags on the Exo looks like a great add on. Are you guys running out of volume in the pack or just looking for better pocket layout/access or something else?
If they fix those bags after I sold my k4 frame I'm gonna be real annoyed.
Good to know, thanks! Not to derail anyone on the side bags for the K4- they work and I am using them on it. However, there may be something in the works….
I like the sound of a bag tweak. Really digging the K4 frame, but pack pockets and weapon sling system could use a couple small changes imo.If they fix those bags after I sold my k4 frame I'm gonna be real annoyed.
They need to eliminate everything about the current one and start completely over from scratch.weapon sling system could use a couple small changes imo.
^This. Well done on the breakdown, very helpful.I knew as soon as the first picture was posted that this thread was going to cost me money.
Form, how would you compare the fit of the SG Grumman to the Kifaru LPP. I’m a medium in everything but the LPP has the volume inside of it of a large, to be able to layer. This works perfectly for me. I’m wondering if the Grumman is more form fitting where a base and mid layer would be the only thing comfortable underneath, or it’s very roomy like the LPP
Formidilosus - I couldn’t find the details on the contents of your emergency stash in your bino harness that you only open in a real emergency that’s the cue to you that you need to end your trip. Can you go over what’s in that and why you started doing that?

For Injinji toe sock liners, do you use the Liner Crew or Liner Crew Wool?Socks- injinji Toe sock liners. Over top is Mongolian camel wool or Yak wool socks. Legitimately better in every regard of performance than merino. I carry and use when required a pair of waterproof socks.
