Except the Bowmar's don't poach.

I never said they did, but I wouldn’t be at all surprised if they just haven’t gotten caught doing something since they’re in the same boat with the rest of these knuckleheads. Both Bowmar’s have done enough to hurt the public perception of hunting that I have no use for them regardless. If they do anything questionable on their Instagram pages, they’ll just immediately block comments that get through their comment filters. They’re a bunch of cry babies who can’t take criticism for their actions. Mr. Erik appears to be the same way.

I think this thread just bumped up the views on that antelope video. I watched it as well and it's not pretty...

As a ginger Utah Hunter I feel like I need to apologize to the Rokslide/hunting community on his behalf.

As stated, I believe it was a pretty minor violation of not having a bow stamp, but if it was trespassing I'd like to see where you got that info, could you share please?

Not minimizing the bow stamp violation but pretty sure it was an honest mistake that he won't make again.
How so? He hunts Idaho every year, somehow doesn't realize he needed a bow stamp. That's literally his job.

I don’t know shit about western hunting as I have only done a handful of guided hunts in MT and NM - - that being said, why was he being such a little cry baby bitch about that goat? I get there was a bigger one...was his tag one of those that takes years to draw? Man, I would be absolutely thrilled to lay my hands on an animal like that.

I also understand there may have been a lot of “talking” going on...way to take ownership of the situation being you (he) was the one responsible for the end result.

If it’s the area that I think it is, yes, it takes about 5 years to draw it. I understand being a little disappointed in shooting the wrong goat, but shit happens, put a smile on your face and move on. I don’t understand how he mistakenly shot the wrong one, there was a huge difference between the two. I think that the thing that gets me. You can tell he has never hunted goats before, I believe he even admits that but acts like he is an expert in hunting them when everyone else isn’t doing it the way he would.

I stumbled across them when they hunted with Top Priority for bears and like the quality of video they put out. As I watched more and more, I was like this guy is a tool. The one where he shoots the deer, it gets back up and runs away was another glorious one they put out. I saw the antelope one and the deer one and was like I am out. These guys are douches.

Isn’t that the one where his spotter kept telling him the deer got back up and he wouldn’t shut the hell up and pay attention until it finally just ran off?

Stay on the gun kids, don’t be an idiot

I gather the douchiness for sure. Cool it’s a 5yr draw. Like you say...do your damn homework! I’m 5 years into a Iowa whitetail NR deer tag, believe me when I say I will know what I’m looking for when my number is drawn, regardless of what others say.

what kind of ass waits, say 5 years, draws the tag...and then blames everyone else. I bet this guy is a lot of fun at parties...

Yep that’s the one. I almost regret talking about any of these as people will now go watch all the videos and run the view count up.

The opening to that video alone...Jez. I needed an in-flight barf bag

My thing is just, why not walk out another 300 yards and take a shot or is that just too much “hunting” for a party of 7.
I just never got into being a sniper. It’s all about counting coup for me.
I’m sure there is long range guys out there plenty capable, this ginger not so much.

Left a comment on the Muley freak ig page. Doubt they'll respond.

Update: they took down my comment so I put another up.

So this guy blames his "Friends" that he shot a small goat.

I remember reading an article in bowhunter magazine years ago from Curt Wells. Granted I hadn't been a real fan of him until I read the article. I can't remember the details but it seems like he was in an area of Alaska moose hunting where it had to be a 60" moose. He shot a 58" moose on the direction of his guide. He didn't rail his guide. Instead he took responsibility for the fact that he killed an animal that was illegal. He contacted Alaska fish and game. They confiscated it. He took his outlet as a writer for a magazine to highlight the fact that ultimately it's your decision to take a shot. He didn't pass the buck off on the fact his guide told him it was legal. He took the responsibility of taking the animal. I gained a lot of respect for him at that point. Unfortunately the people coming to age in hunting now only read the things on social media and I don't feel those are the ones setting a good example for hunters to follow.

I try to resist the urge to punch flatbills. The videos posted sure don't help.
