Nitrided CroMoly would make a nice coastal use gun, particularly if all screws and small parts were nitrided and the bolt body was left bare stainless. Probably hoping for too much there though.

I missed that, and it is one of the aspects. Actions and if possible barrels will be nitrided.

Definitely interested, but also curious on the value vs a tikka that’s cut/threaded and has a rokstok (say $1600ish). What kind of hunter would benefit from the extra cost vs just staying with a tikka?
