Montana joint resolution to transfer federal public land

I don’t believe that being a caring person is a weakness and I’ve never heard of anyone criticizing TR for being weak. He was a weak child and struggled to prove himself. He made some giant political and environmental blunders, especially near his end.
Oh yeah wasn’t accusing you of it! Just knowing some of my friends at this point definitely find it weak or even as some say “retarded”.

Do you mean BHA supported wind farms and solar or we’re against them? I would guess they were against?
How could anyone be against renewable energy? BHA is a watchdog against putting wind turbines and solar farms in the wrong place. They are defending the wildlife so we can hunt there.

can you link some of the permit comments or public articles written by BHA critical of that green energy development? i must of missed them when it counted. you know when the biden administration which they wanted in office committed 22 million acres of public land to industrial scale renewable development. Which they endorsed in 2017. They issued some mealy mouthed environmental statement in like 2023 or something. far too late. stop gas lighting.

Renewables would be the right way to go if we used all the structures that are already built in cities to support them. Solar panels on parking lots, buildings, homes, all contributing to the grid. Transition plans to help oil field workers learn a new trade in solar or wind that could benefit all of us in the long run. While wind and solar take up vast tracts of land, the road systems built for oil are also a major problem even though the footprint of a well is very small. It just seems like no one is looking for common sense solutions to move us into the future. I want to see less oil pads and I want to see less wind and solar farms. We think that we have to settle but we don’t, our representatives are our representatives not celebrities that can get away with what they want. The more people that speak out, the more they will/should listen. For example, the entire city of Phoenix should have solar panels on buildings and in car parks and be running on solar 90%+ of the time. We all as the public have common sense solutions but we fail to advocate for them. If we could advocate for those things the way HOWL has showed up in Colorado, we can get these things done.

As I remember BHA came out in favor of green energy on public land during the Biden administration. Was plenty of threads on other forums.
Here we are back to the propaganda machine: “green energy bad…carbon energy good”

Since you’ve read them why not provide your “facts” for us to read?

Solar and wind have huge impacts on the landscape, that is not even an argument anymore. No need to rehash an established fact.

The push towards green energy and the propaganda behind it are despicable also.

With our own tax dollars we have been fed total lies from a subsidized media and education system to believe this way of energy is sustainable and is a feasible answer to environmental issues with power. Which anyone with common sense can immediately see the huge plot holes in that. Not to mention the entire cart before horse rollout of wind and solar in regards to storage and transportation.

It truly was a monumental grift to simply put money into the pockets of different shareholders. That’s all

National BHA is primarily funded by the same subsidized environmental organizations that peddled this lie. This is also well established and noted throughout many different posts on here and other media. They are at the national level a wolf in sheep’s clothing.

I’ll save you the retort about being a big fan of oil and lng or some bs about not caring about the environment. They also have massive impacts on everything and all options should be on the table to find the least impactful and most efficient way to power the world that lives in reality. IMO that answer is most likely nuclear.

Green energy is a farce, it is more detrimental to the environment by its giant footprint than carbon, and has to be subsidized by the government for people to afford it. And green energy is completely dependent on petroleum products, oh the irony!! Carbon energy is readily available in the US to fuel our cars, heat our homes, run our businesses, and provide an almost endless amount of petroleum. We have carbon deposits to last hundreds of years! What could possibly be better? NUCLEAR!!! I’m not a big fan of oil and mining companies either, there needs to be some regulation, but MUCH less Federal regulation than now.

Just a few BHA links advocating for our public lands:

Good Lord you are a Brilliant man! LOL great minds think a like!

I like the Wisconsin Prairie Chicken link!!! I found this one the other day and it’s fantastic!!! Seems like some of the state and local BHA chapters do some real good!!

NUCLEAR ENERGY BEST!!!
After three mile island, Chernobyl, and Fukushima; I don’t trust nuke energy. The risk is just not worth it IMO. However fusion was discovered a few years ago. I think that if they put as much research into fusion energy as they have AI controlled Cobalt bombs, we may have no need for as much carbon, green energy.

They really do, there are many other similar efforts. I used to hunt prairie chickens behind my Brittany.

More women have been killed and raped by the Kennedy’s than people were injured at 3 Mile. Our Nuclear program is worlds apart from the Russians and Japanese. Look at France, they had a fantastic program!!! The real issue is what to do with the tiny amount of insanely radioactive control rod waste? None has been moved anywhere, because it’s so dangerous for thousands of years! Fusion was discovered in the 50’s are used to make bigger bombs! Fusion is the best for energy, but the most dangerous, because fusion keeps growing. It is the future and technology will make it safe.
