slowelk, sour? Nope, just realistic. Native Montanan that has been in the Root a long time. I understand what is happening here. I'm not concerned about wealthy folks buying big pieces of Montana. At least it wouldn't end up like out on Mullan, a place you mentioned. I work for a large custom hone builder in the Root. We build 1 home every 1 and 1/2 years as opposed to 1 every month or so like the tract builders. Schools? Our district in Corvallis takes a backseat to no other district in the state. Missoula is great if I need to buy something I can't get in the Root. Like they say, Missoula, only 45 minutes from Montana. mtmuley
