Missoula fishing and restaurants

Again more great suggestions.
We had tried the Montana club once, it was absolutely terrible, expensive, small portions, cold food.
Chalking it up to a bad day there, we tried it again the next year, food wasn’t cold but service and all is just terrible. We’ll never go back.
We will check out 1889 for sure.

A lot of good information about food, but I’ll add some more to the list:

Tagliare Delicatessen - great for subs while fishing
Highlander Brewery - pizza + brewery with good outdoor seating

For the fishing, I used to work in one of the fly shops there for a bit and just moved away after a decade of fishing. PM me and I’ll share my spots, just don’t want to burn them on a public forum.

^i appreciate this response.

-Not the best burger I've ever had but a neat place to sit and drink a beer is The Missoula Club. Cash only.

-One the of the best burgers I've ever had was at Gary's Local. It's a permanent food truck downtown serving $6.95 burger that is insanely simple and delicious.

-Pho Vi on Brooks has good vietnamese food if that's what you're in to

I'm a little late to this post but if you're a whiskey drinker, the Rhino (Rhinocer0us) has a great list and is relatively inexpensive and it's walking distance from the Grizzly Hackle fly shop which sells your first dozen flies at half price on Fridays.
Rivers are in great shape for wading right now.
Get out there with the dries!
