So will the animals know if I wear Sitka optifade mixed with FL fusion? They will right? They will probably point and laugh…

But seriously, does anyone else do that? I’m digging the Sitka heavyweight hoody in open country but all my other stuff is FL fusion.

The camo fashion statements have gotten so ridiculous that I am personally rebelling. I'm wearing my camo pants with solid t shirts during regular workdays and wearing my solid pants with a camo shirt to hunt. I'm gonna mix camo brands this year too. Imagine Sitka mixed with Kuiu??? Blasphemy! Damn if I'm going to look like one of you fan boys out there ;)

Had a kings camo top, khakis, and realtree balaclava and had a doe come within 15 yards of me trying to figure out what I was.

Mismatched camp is additive by further breaking up your outline. More and more I wear solid pants that roughly match the background and a cami top. Animals shouldn’t really be seeing your legs anyhow.

I had one hunt last year where I counted 5 different patterns. Pants, shirt, gloves, hat, and a neck gaiter all in different camo pattens. I guess that’s what happens when you’re cheap and only camo if it’s on sale.!

Don’t know if I could talk my self into wearing all the same camo… people who do that are more worried with how they look then killing animals… just joking kinda

Heck I hunted sheep and goats for awhile before I knew there were hunting brands. I thought the local Dept store had all I needed. Here’s me in Walmart hunting pants all cotton, synthetic $5 shirt from some cheap place. For fun here’s my buddy in black jeans I think were carharts on the same goat hunt. He took home a nice goat. Not long after that I discovered stretchy pants. Oh my hahaha. I don’t care if it matches as long as it stretches!

Makes sense; rifle hunter, curved bill. Kudos to you Dad for raising him right.

Flatbill - must match
Curved bill - can match but not necessary
I'm so triggerrrrrrrrreeeeedd. This year is solid colours for me. Wrangler pants and a used FL top. The solids won't match, and the price points won't either.

BUT!

My Flatbill hat will be just as right as ever hahahahahahah ;)

North Mountain Gear Leafy suits rock! Also 5.11 now has this Veil Camo that rocks! True Timber Strata pieces mixes well with it interchangeably. such as liner gloves and mesh facemask. Can't recommend the Leafy enough though! Works especially well when trying to remain unseen by Bobcats coming in to the caller! I often end up throwing on a Natural Gear Mesh Facemask all day when in the field. Hides ya good and helps keep the sun off your ear tips and nose tip too. And for me hides my white Goatee!

See, now you're just an "anti camo, solid color," follower. I pity the fool...
