Another vote for Black Ovis for more everyday use. I don't baby them and they hold up fine. I do baby my first lite red deserts for hunting.

At least. I bought a medium pair and gave em away on here because I couldn't get them above my knees. I normally wear medium in FL, smart wool, Duluth, etc.

I’ve had good luck with Minus 33 but that’s also the only ones I have tried.

I don't wear underwear when I hunt. I wear skin tight leggings that are temperature appropriate. ua warm weather gear when it's above 50 degrees. merino or merino blend when it's below 50 Fahrenheit. 2 fold reasoning. controls ticks and wick away moisture.
