What are you guys using for underwear when it's stupid hot out scouting or early hunts or even the gym?

My go to is 2Undr long legged boxers. They're super comfortable but got dang the last few times I've hiked in them when it's 80 they've been way too hot. But the fit and design for man parts are great.

I gave up on merino a long time ago. They ride up on my tree trunk thighs and wear out as fast as two weeks.

Gotta be man panties or long leg briefs to fit my thighs. Regular boxer briefs are a non starter. They ride up bad for me.

I tried some Aswemove I think they're called last year. The material was amazing but the fit was horrible. Think they were made for dudes trying to pretend to be a women. No package room.

Any suggestions?

Ideally I'd find a light nylon kilt and rock commando... kilts are amazing for hiking in the heat!

I wear silkies in all weather. They tend to run small. If you think you wear a smedium, get a large. The ones by Soffe are the good ones.

Commando with silkweight polyester unlined longish running shorts. Where I live it seems like its over 90 9 months of the year. I hunt in shorts and knee high snake boots. Those shorts are nylon but heavier fabric and wear really thin regular boxers and still sweat more. My goal is to prevent intertrigo ( wet dermatitis). My prescription: stay dry and use yellow dial bar soap in the shower daily.

Same I wear Go Ruck ones, they are life changing. Best boxer ever. Their longer inseam version are best shorts ever.

These don’t meet your length requirements but they’re the answer otherwise. The echo material is very light and cool.

I also know the thick thigh struggle. My go to for years has been Nike compression shorts. That’s what they gave us in college to wear and I figure if they can keep me from chafing in a hot wrestling room then they are good stuff. I haven’t tried much else though so if you find something better let me know.

Big exofficio fan here on the boxers/briefs take a look but might be too short, I don’t have Africa thighs

Hahaha exactly my issue My dad have me giant thighs a love of big butts Glocks and chicken. But that fool won't answer my Facebook friend request Can't play basketball though. Even though two close relatives play for the NBA
But if you need something heavy hiked up a mountain...

Tommy John’s second skin ride up on me terribly. My favorite are exofficio every day boxer. they’re light and dry quickly. I ride on chicken legs though in a very moderate temp environment. It rarely gets over 90 degrees here and almost never 100.

Anything stretchy, lightweight, and polyester. They dry fast and I don't seem to have any chafing issues. I went down the merino path....merino clothes are great but just about the worst for base base layers.

Woolly merino boxers.
I haven’t been using them long, but they’re the best ones. I’ve tried so far. I’m up and down ladders all day every day in the heat and humidity of the St. Louis area.
