Matt should be getting one in mid January to review.

If they follow the same as their binoculars, I would assume Kamakura Koki Co. made in Japan using Maven design specs, customized in CA and then reviewed in WY. I am not sure though...just a fan of the B.3 and their company. Hopefully these will be in my price range since I would like to add a scope this year and love the prospect of being able to get great glass at a great value.

I'm hoping to be in Dallas for the dsc expo Sunday. Will definitely look up maven while I'm there. I'll be in the market for a new spotter in the next year or so and based on the performance of their binos these will be on my radar.

They do look like the brunton icon/epoch md's. I liked that spotter but heavy heavy. Hope they lighten them up.

According to Maven, similar design as the brunton, better glass, fixed 25-50x80, and a bit lighter. Different/better prisms. I believe that was it and I'm assuming it will be offered in there choices of colors.

I talked to Brendan about getting one for a review last month. He said the glass is much improved.

You would think, but I much prefer the Maven Binos(glass) over the Razors.

25-50 power with a fixed eyepiece ? Kind of weak for an 80mm spotter. Hope it has a really wide field of view to justify the smaller power range.

Those scopes look interesting. I'd like to see Maven come out with a 15x bino. Has anyone heard of any plans for one?
