Yes the aggressive knurling of the turret catching and always rubbing on the tight fitting cover I THINK was making it turn when the cover would get moved around either from setting my pack down or going through trees.Physical interference is what you are saying?
Those early xtr3 Burris turrets were like a cheese grater! You sample those??
The nurling on Trijicon’s and NF’s are not remotely as sharp and grabby as the Maven. The Maven’s have the most sharp and aggressive checkering of any scope I have seen.
I haven’t spent a ton of time on horses, but every time I have a scabbard ends up dialing the scope a few clicks.It went in and out a few times before I noticed, so not sure exactly when it happened.
