I’m looking forward to spinning on my first two Tikka pre-fit barrels this weekend. In the event that the markings showing the chambering and twist rate are not visible (on the underside), how do you guys address this? If you have a method that looks decent and isn’t too technical, please share. Pictures would be awesome if you have them.

I have two Carbon 6 barrels and neither one came with any markings so I just used a sharpie in case I didn’t make it back from one of my “expeditions”😎. Also because the older I get the less I remember ☹️

Found a local guy today (a trophy/engraving shop type place) that will laser etch them before I spin them on for about $30 each. Seems reasonable. I'll mock them up, mark where I want the labeling, then have it done.

This is what I do to number magazine base pads - local shop does it for $10 each. Definitely the way to go.
