Duece an a 1/2 @ 2000M with a smoothbore 120mm. Then transfered to artillary and lobbed 203mm's and 155mm's 10 to 15km away at "targets".

520 yards on a buck I named "Curly" with a Weatherby 30/378 Magnum. Mike Eastman and I filmed this buck on the winter range years ago, and five years later, we crossed paths once again.....this time in the high country of Wyoming during the hunting season.

He's a cool buck but he is only 23" wide. It was funny, I debated for a long time whether I should shoot him or not. I was actually going to pass on him, but the fact that there was only a couple of days left in the season kind of helped me make my mind up. I watched him for an extremely long time when he was bedded. He finally got up and did some feeding and then was heading for the timber. I ranged a large boulder next to him at 516 yards and when the buck was only a couple of steps from the timber, I finally decided to take him at the last second.
