Problem is a 360 bh won’t clean up a 30-30 chamber. Needs a new barrel to do it right.JES would rebore a .30-30 to .360 BH for you.
A 460 with a 18 inch barrel and fiber front sight will be my next rifle.I saw they released a take down version now. I'm tempted.
I think I'd get it in 460 just because I suppress everything and I have a 46 cal suppressor. And no one makes a 50 cal suppressor without rating it for 50bmg and it being way to big.
Oh no kidding, I didn’t realize that.Problem is a 360 bh won’t clean up a 30-30 chamber. Needs a new barrel to do it right.
Just got to Maine with my 45/70 trapper for bear.I love all the custom lightweight rifle set ups that are found here on Rokslide. I like to hunt with lever actions. Any other lever action hunters out and about?

After a total of about an hour on the stand, I have Two more does down with my 45/70 XLR. First one ran about 75 yards and the second dropped on the spot (I don’t have a photo of the second).
That’s just flies, she went down in a cow pasture with lots of flies around. She looks full of Ticks?
How far is the 45/70 good for Whitetail?
I put a pearsons tac rail on mine (from 1952) and mounted a little vortex scout scope ahead of the ejection port. It works well and is no-drill so you won't have to do anything permanent. This is my Winchester 94 30-30 that was passed down to me from my grandpa. It’s a 1955 model and it had a weaver 1.5 power mounted on it but I’ve since removed it because the side mount is just an awkward sob.
I’ve taken several deer with it including my first buck. I still carry this gun on drive days now, I t’s so light and handy.

A guy in front of my in line at the local sporting good store was buying the Homesteader in 9mm and it looked like a really fun gun. These also look 'wrong' but I'm looking forward to getting my hands on one.
This is the one that interests me right now. I do really like my Marlin in 45 Colt also.Never know with ruger.
Didnt they just turn out a 10mm levergun?
I’ve eyeballed them before. I just didn’t know how I’d like the scout scopeI put a pearsons tac rail on mine (from 1952) and mounted a little vortex scout scope ahead of the ejection port. It works well and is no-drill so you won't have to do anything permanent.
Photos or it didn’t happen!I love my lever guns. They sure beat carrying a 26" barreled bolt gun in the thick stuff.
I've got a pre '64 Winchester model 94 in 30wcf, another 94 30-30 that was manufactured in the 70s, a Savage 99 in 300 Savage, and a 1895 Marlin in 45-70.
they would have more of my money if they put out a new triple 4Rugers always been one to toss out random calibers and whatnot. Wouldnt surprise me to see a 444 or anything else get turned out one of these days.
Nice!wife’s first bull and first hunt with a lever gun.
